I know you guys on Oppo are sick of hearing about my project Fiat, but... How the hell do I get the only defective Bosch fuel pump ever made? Seriously, you NEVER hear of them going bad, and yet I got one.
Damn Fiat.
Now, to put on the spare I bought, just in case.

They had to do that as part of their agreement with Magneti Marelli :p

I thought Bosch fuel pumps were the ones that kept blowing up in BMWs when they first introduced the TT3.0.

You got the only faulty Bosch and my dad got the only reliable Lucas (over half a million km and still going strong!). Crazy things be happenin'!

It's probably caught some of that FIAT aura. Don't worry though, there are stranger things happening. My fried's 20 year-old engine block, for example, recently just exploded from some hidden internal stresses. He wasn't even giving it the stick or anything - how often do you see that :D
